Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and KinTune for using the KinTune website and app. By creating an account or using KinTune, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use KinTune.

Your account

• You must be an adult to create a KinTune account. Children may use the family board set up by their parent or guardian.
• You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for keeping that account secure.
• You're responsible for who you invite into your family and for the grown-up passcode on your board.

Your content

What you put into KinTune (names, chores, notes, photos, lists and so on) is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of your family, only so that KinTune can work. Please only upload photos and information you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse KinTune: don't try to access other families' information, interfere with the service, use it for anything unlawful, or use it to harass anyone.

Plans and payment

KinTune is a paid license for each family, priced on our pricing page. Until online payment is available, you may use KinTune without paying; we'll tell you the price before you're asked to pay, and you can choose whether to continue. Licenses can be cancelled at any time and run until the end of the period you've paid for. When a license ends, the family's board is paused and its data kept until you renew or ask us to delete it. We may also give a license free of charge at our discretion.

Connected services

KinTune can connect to services you choose, such as Google Calendar, Outlook and Walmart. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. KinTune only reads your calendars and never changes them. We don't place orders for you: the Walmart cart is filled for you to review and check out yourself.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep KinTune running and your family's information safe, but the service may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. Keep anything truly critical (such as medical appointments) in your own calendar as well. If we ever shut KinTune down, we'll give you notice and a way to download your family's information.

Ending your account

You can stop using KinTune at any time and ask us to delete your family's account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other families at risk.

Disclaimers and limits

KinTune is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises beyond those in these terms, and we're not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, such as a missed event. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let you know before the change takes effect. Continuing to use KinTune after that means you accept the new terms.
